At Smartlink, we’re proud to shine a light on the incredible individuals who make our team so strong. This month, we’re thrilled to introduce you to Jim Kopac, Project Manager I, as our March 2025 Employee Spotlight!
Life Motto: For Jim, life is all about finding moments to celebrate. His favorite motto comes straight from his most-played song:
“I Just Want to Celebrate Another Day of Living” by Rare Earth. It’s a joyful reminder to appreciate the everyday and embrace the present—something Jim truly lives by.
Favorite Project: Jim’s passion for community and connection shines through in his favorite project: The Chapter 30 Project.
This initiative, led by the PA State Government, aimed to bring high-speed broadband to rural communities across the state.
Jim describes it as one of the most rewarding efforts he’s been a part of—full of remote locations, unique challenges, and the thrill of turning every search into an adventure.
Giving Back: Outside of work, Jim dedicates much of his time to supporting local children’s hospitals and youth programs. He’s deeply involved in fundraising groups that make a meaningful impact in the community. His dedication to helping others speaks volumes about the heart he brings to everything he does.
A Unique Annual Tradition: Each year, Jim and a group of close friends travel to the Pennsylvania State Trap Shoot to compete for a State Championship in shooting. He’s proud to have placed as high as 6th in the state—and he’s still chasing that championship trophy!
Jim’s commitment to his work, community, and personal passions is inspiring. We’re grateful to have him as part of the Smartlink family. Here’s to celebrating every day of living—just like Jim does!
