Thriving on Challenges and Making Smartlink Sweeter (Literally!)

When Kristen joined Smartlink, she walked straight into the middle of a high-energy project—and never looked back. Adaptability has always been one of her strengths, but this role has taken that skill to a whole new level.

“Walking into a project midstream meant learning fast, building trust with a new team, and connecting with clients who didn’t know me yet,” she shared. “It was a lot of trial and error, but I learned so much in such a short time—and now, our team is seeing great success.”

One of Kristen’s proudest accomplishments so far? Becoming a true SiteTracker pro. Although she had used the platform before, Smartlink gave her the opportunity to dive deeper than ever. “I feel like I finally understand all the ins and outs,” she said. “It’s been great to see how much more efficient it makes our work.”

For Kristen, every day at Smartlink brings something different, and that’s exactly how she likes it. The project she’s currently working on—her first with Smartlink—has quickly become her favorite. “I love a good challenge, and this project definitely provides that,” she said with a smile.

But Kristen’s talents go beyond project management and problem-solving. Around the holidays, she’s famous among family and friends for her homemade rum cakes. “I love giving them as Christmas gifts,” she said. “It’s such a small gesture, but it makes people so happy.”

If she ever got the chance to trade roles at Smartlink for a day, Kristen says she’d head straight to the marketing team. “I’d love to switch places with Taylor Kelly! I really enjoy planning events, and Taylor and her team always do such an amazing job. I’d love to sit in on those creative meetings and just listen to all of their ideas.”

Her advice for anyone considering a career at Smartlink is simple: “Accept the offer!” She credits the company’s culture and supportive environment as a huge part of her success. “I’ve been having so much fun here, and I feel very lucky to have landed at Smartlink.”
