Kicking off the new year with focus and determination, our Small Cell GA/AL team has quickly established themselves as a driving force. Since January 1, the team has successfully REC’d 47 projects, advanced 9 to RTC, and has proudly brought their first site through full integration and on-air – with four more entering construction this month. These early milestones are more than just numbers—they represent a team that has embraced complexity, ownership, and execution from day one.
Tasked with managing an end-to-end program of over 500 active sites across Georgia and Alabama—including 300 projects already in progress—the team stepped into a high-visibility initiative with a national spotlight. Through a comprehensive audit of each site, they rapidly identified project statuses, prioritized next steps, and immediately began driving progress. Operating in a fully integrated model—from RF design through on-air delivery—the team continues to deepen its understanding of what it means to function as both the carrier and delivery partner, all while maintaining strong production and forward momentum.
What truly sets this team apart is the culture they have fully embraced. Despite many members taking on in-progress sites for the first time, they came together seamlessly, demonstrating strong communication, accountability, and an all-in willingness to support one another at every turn. From submitting right-of-way permits to tracking down overdue approvals and clearing roadblocks, the team has consistently leaned in with urgency and ownership.
Their success is also a testament to the power of shared experience and collaboration across our broader organization. By tapping into nationwide expertise and maintaining open lines of communication, the team was able to enter a new market with confidence and agility. The result is not only impressive early performance, but a strong foundation for continued growth and success.
