About the Role
We’re looking for a Project Manager to oversee all aspects of services projects within Smartlink’s wireless operations. Reporting to a Director or Program Manager, the Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for the customer and owns project execution from planning through delivery.
This role ensures client requirements are met while delivering consistent, profitable results through accurate forecasting, financial analysis, and disciplined budget management. The Project Manager leads, supports, and develops project teams to drive performance aligned with both customer expectations and Smartlink’s strategic goals.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the primary customer point of contact and build long-term client relationships
- Drive project execution to ensure deliverables meet client standards, procedures, and expectations
- Develop clear, detailed, and aggressive project plans aligned with Smartlink’s strategy and business goals
- Communicate project status through system updates, reporting, and deployment meetings
- Deliver consistent, profitable results tied to Smartlink’s financial calendar through forecasting, analysis, and budget management
- Maintain a strong understanding of customer and subcontractor contracts, pay points, and invoicing systems
- Ensure milestones are billed accurately and on time to support project progression
- Develop project teams through onboarding, coaching, and development of internal talent
- Train internal disciplines to support site leadership aligned with Smartlink policy and procedures
- Act as a point of escalation for client and internal issues
- Direct daily project activities by providing structure, clear priorities, and measurable goals
- Monitor team and contractor performance and provide timely, effective feedback and evaluations
- Maintain accurate project budgets, including approval of costs and billing for all assigned services projects
- Provide annual, quarterly, weekly, and ad hoc reporting related to services project activity
- Contribute to Smartlink’s body of knowledge in process design, execution, monitoring, and optimization
- Uphold professional, ethical, and company standards at all times

What You Bring
- Strong leadership, mentoring, coaching, and talent development capabilities
- Proven financial leadership with experience managing and analyzing project budgets
- Demonstrated success leading project teams in highly collaborative, fast-paced environments
- Extensive knowledge of the wireless telecommunications industry, including leasing, zoning, and construction
- Ability to give and receive feedback productively and adapt accordingly
- Results-driven mindset with the ability to balance multiple business priorities
- Strong prioritization skills, commitment to tight deadlines, and effective problem-solving ability
- Excellent project and timeline management skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage complex logistics

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Education & Experience
- Approximately 10 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, including experience in a leadership role
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus, but not required
Travel Requirements
- Moderate travel expected (<50%)
