- Conduct inspections of all received goods, documenting damages, shortages, or discrepancies immediately.
- Report unresolved shipment issues or variances to the Data Center Logistics Manager for timely resolution.
Inventory Management
- Maintain an accurate, up-to-date digital or manual inventory tracking system for all on-site materials.
- Perform routine audits to reconcile stock levels, ensure material integrity, and prevent shortages.
- Label, categorize, and store materials according to safety and organizational standards.
Material Staging & Jobsite Coordination
- Coordinate material flow from receiving areas to designated staging zones based on installation schedules and crew requirements.
- Prepare “installation-ready” staging by grouping and labeling materials for specific crews or tasks.
- Collaborate daily with site foremen and crew leads to ensure timely material availability and prevent installation delays.
- Support field teams with on-demand material delivery to jobsite locations as needed.
Material Handling & Storage
- Operate material-handling equipment—such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or telehandlers—safely and efficiently (with certification).
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized warehouse, laydown, and staging areas.
- Ensure proper storage conditions for sensitive materials, including fiber, network hardware, and critical infrastructure components.
- Maintain accurate logs of received, issued, and staged materials.
- Use inventory software or mobile applications to update real-time material status.
