Job Title: Technician I
Reports To: Project Manager

Hourly Rate: $25-27/hr (firm, dependent on experience)
Location: Must be local to Arizona or New Mexico
Job Summary: The Technician I supports wireless telecommunications infrastructure projects across a variety of environments, including in-building systems, rooftops, light poles, and tower sites. This role performs entry- to mid-level technical tasks required to install, de-install, maintain, test, and repair telecommunications equipment and systems. The position emphasizes continuous learning and skill development through hands-on experience and ongoing training.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform job tasks in accordance with company procedures, OEM requirements, customer standards, and safe work practices.
• Support the installation, testing, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications equipment, subsystems, and ancillary components.
• Fabricate, install, and terminate cabling and connectors as required.
• Deliver excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of company vehicles, tools, and equipment; ensure proper stocking of required materials.
• Safely operate and maintain commercial fleet vehicles and construction tools; report vehicle or equipment damage, maintenance needs, or safety concerns promptly.
• Accurately complete, maintain, and submit required paperwork, records, and job documentation in a timely manner.
• Report all accidents, injuries, property damage, or losses to a supervisor immediately.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for all assigned tasks.
• Troubleshoot technical issues with supervisory guidance as needed.
• Provide training and guidance on policies and procedures to coworkers when requested.
• Perform additional duties and follow other instructions as assigned by a supervisor.
• Maintain professional, ethical, and company standards at all times.

• Reliable, punctual, and consistent attendance.
• Ability to climb ladders, stoop, kneel, crouch, dig, and reach while performing job duties.
• Ability to lift, carry, and position heavy objects safely.
• Valid motor vehicle operator’s license with a safe driving record that meets industry standards.
Education & Experience
• One (1) year of related experience and/or technical training preferred, including hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and basic test equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a technical or business discipline preferred or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Required certifications (must be current or obtained upon hire):
o Adult First Aid / CPR
o OSHA 10-Hour Construction
o RF Safety & Awareness
• DOT Medical Card and Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) are desirable but not required.
Travel Requirements
• Extensive travel (greater than 50%) is expected.
• Must be willing and able to travel out of town and work overtime, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as business needs require.
